Matt has worked at Bouma since 1987. He has held many positions including estimator, project manager, and chief estimator. In his current role as Director of Estimating and Preconstruction, Matt oversees personnel and resources for both the Grand Rapids and Traverse City offices. He also leads the preconstruction and pre-bid selection processes, reviews contracts and quotes for vendors and subs, performs the risk review of major projects, assists efforts of all team members in acquiring work, and reviews final estimates. In addition to his director position, he is also a member of the management team.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Building Construction and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Sales, both from Ferris State University.
